Pretty sure I’ve answered this if you lurk back hard enough. In the studio I used an Ampeg V4, Sunn Beta Lead and Acoustic 470 with various pedals, most notably a ProCo Rat. All through an Emperor 4x12. I take a lot of tone notes from Sleep, Tragedy, Neurosis, anyone that emphasizes volume and clarity rather than just horrendous amounts of gain. Not a big fan of the tones on too many fast band’s records. Although I do enjoy the completely blown out HM-2 sound. Hope this answers your question!
Well, now that all my plans have fallen apart, everyone has flaked on me, and no one is down to hang out, I guess I’ll salvage the rest of my day off by making smoothies and watching Netflix.
